Walmart Parking Lot Picnic!!!!
We had another wonderful day. The weather was cool (borderline cold) in the morning and comfortable this afternoon. We left La Crosse, Wisconsin early this morning and are spending tonight in Oacoma, South Dakota. Tomorrow we will be staying in Rapid City, SD.
We covered a lot of miles today. We needed some provisions and stopped at a Walmart around lunch time. We had a little picnic in the parking lot. Doozer and Tia are sitting in the chairs in this picture. We met a fellow from South Africa who asked if he could take our picture. He was an interesting man.
We saw more cornfields and windmill fields than I could have ever imagined.Sometimes the cornfields and windmill fields occupied the same space. We traveled across Minnesota and half of South Dakota today.
I don't have any quotes for today.......I thought it was awesome to cross the Mississippi River as we started our day and the Missouri River right before we called it a day!
Love the pics of the girls in the chairs. Tom is a little disappointed about "no quote" for today...he thought for sure the fellow from South Africa would have had a good one. lol Glad you are having a good time. Hope you don't wear yourselves out this early looks like you traveled lots of miles today and you got many wonderful days ahead. ♥Vicki
